Camper health and safety is paramount.
Penn College adheres to governmental and health agency guidelines, procedures, and practices for the COVID-19 pandemic to provide an optimal living and learning camp environment. Safety protocols are in place and all Pre-College Programs attendees who are not fully vaccinated will be asked to submit a negative test result no more than 72 hours prior to arriving on campus.
Do you enjoy cooking or baking? Do you dream of owning your own restaurant or becoming a famous chef? Join chefs from our hospitality department for an introduction to baking and pastry arts, culinary arts, and hospitality management. Take part in field trips and hands-on workshops centered on developing kitchen skills, culinary/baking techniques, and menu planning strategies.
On Thursday, June 17 at 6pm, parents are invited to join participants for dinner and taste the delicious foods they’ve created using the skills learned during the week.
Summer Overnight Pre-College Program
Age Group: Students entering grades 9-12
Includes all activities, meals, and on-campus housing.
Field Trips/Special Events
A field trip to Herman & Luther’s restaurant is included along with an etiquette dinner.
Close-toed shoes and clothes that can get dirty are required.
